Back in April, 2007, the blog at Freshbooks (for which Oceanic has been a customer for almost 2 years) had a posting about the newly launched Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuit snack food. I like Triscuits very much and these sounded just awesome. Because I live in Fiji, however, I realised there was very little chance that I'd see this snack food here for quite some time, if ever.
I posted a response asking that the guys at Freshbooks refrain from EVER mentioning food in their blog that might be unavailable to the people reading. Obviously, my comment was in jest but with the exception of family, living outside of my home country makes me more nostalgic for food than anything else.
I came back from a meeting this morning to a package on my desk airmailed from Canada. In it: two boxes of Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits.
I'm tempted to go on and on about the social implications of people just doing nice things for the sake of doing them but I'll refrain from that and simply write:
Freshbooks, you've got a customer for a life and yet one more person to sing your praises to the masses.
We love their product here at Oceanic and I also think our clients love it too since it's so easy to work with. Anyone can sign up for a free trial, as well. If you're looking for a complete, yet affordable, online billing management system without any of the headache, look no further.
I won't promise you Cracked Pepper and Olive Oil Triscuits but I can guarantee a product that works as advertised, gets better with each new release, fast support if its needed and real nice people to boot.
Damn, these friggin Triscuits are good.
